This is a surprisingly good film. It shows the sacrifices nuns had to make, and what they had to go through to become a nun. Audrey Hepburn does well to portray a nun who is going through her own personal battle with her own beliefs and desires on the one hand, and her love for the nun order and God on the other.
The ending is quite bleak and sad.
