The Nun felt like an attempt to make a Freddy/Jason type horror flick and, on that level, I dont think it quite works. That said, there is a rather low bar for horror films. The Nun has a spooky atmosphere, several jump scares and is otherwise well made.
Worth watching but mostly forgettable.
