Review of The Number 23 (2007) by Janine H — 23 Jul 2010
An intriguing premise undone by a disappointingly weak execution. That although starts off strong. With a surprisingly good performance from Carrey, and a potentially interesting mystery premise. Quickly descends into an overtly stylised and nonsensically convoluted mess.
With laughably bad dialogue, an annoyingly gimmicky use of numerology & a cheaply done finale twist. That altogether ruins the potential for what could have been a decent film.
