Review of The Notorious Bettie Page (2006) by Erika A — 12 Jun 2008
For the other reviewers: It's a short film, I doubt it was possible to delve all that deeply into her life. What they were able to cover, however, was a decent introduction to the life of a classic beauty.
For those who aren't familiar with the real Bettie Page I think this movie would serve as a good starting place if you'd like a non-literary one. After the movie you can always research her life in depth in the printed form; which we all know I greatly prefer.
If you want some more info there is a great "coffee table" type book that is simply titled "Bettie Page by Olivia" with some great art from the author and one of the better interviews with Ms Page that I've read.
