Review of The Ninth Gate (1999) by Mã©Lissa A — 18 Apr 2010
While the first part of the movie was suspensful and Johnny Depp gave a wonderful interpretation of Perez-Reverte's character, Corso, the movie did fall flat for the last third of the film. Still, it looks great and the first two thirds are fun to watch.
Hopefully tweny years from now there will be a 'reboot' or 're-imagining' of the film (maybe by Rob Zombie?1).
