Review of The Nines (2007) by Megan W — 24 Oct 2008

Well I can't really review this movie without giving stuff away, but it's worth renting. Production value is going to throw you cause it looks cheaply done (but not so cheap that it seems "indie" so it manages to miss out on easy credibility at both ends of the money spectrum).

Anyway... it's a movie totally unafraid to be ten different genres at once. That's always an easy way to my heart is when a movie doesn't feel like it was written with the Blockbuster section names in mind.

But I need to shut up... don't go into it expecting anything or ready for anything. Good movie; it's not gonna blow your mind to kingdom come (I don't want to OVER sell it), but totally worth two hours.
