Review of The Nines (2007) by Dan A — 16 May 2009
The start is slow. You expect a standard movie then things get weird. This is for those existential metaphysical nuts like me who enjoy a modern fable of the dilemma's of higher power and an undercurrent of addiction. An addicted angel? Cool premise. Melissa McCarthy is huggable and shines smiles through the movie.
Don't go expecting a funny Ryan Reynolds. He plays the confused, junkhead who cannot get it straight nicely.
