Review of The Nines (2007) by Chris K — 21 Nov 2009

This movie annoyed me. Yeah I guess it made sense at the end (and I think there were probably some parts that intentionally didn't make sense that they threw in there just to be cute, or better yet, to ensure that other parts did make sense to us, which practice the movie itself, either sincerely or tongue-in-cheek-ly complains about at one point), but the underlying concept falls under the heading of existentialist BS, and that doesn't fly in my book.

I guess I can give them a few points for technical proficiency and extreme effort on the recurring motifs, but overall, this movie does not get a favorable rating from me.
