Say what you will about the spiritual outlook of this film, it's keeps you interested. Only knowing Melissa McCarthy from Gilmore Girls I wasn't sure what to make of her in this film at first but as the plot begins unfurl she shows a depth that I did not expect. Though I will assume that Ryan Reynolds and Melissa McCarthy will not get "awards"-type notoriety (except for maybe some obscure ones) because their roles transcend the typical roles that you would see in Psychological thriller. This film is unique film in of it's self because of the psychological thriller element but yet has a very earthy feel to it.
In regards to recommending this film I would recommend only those who enjoy unconventional films and also aren't offended my alternate views of spirituality.
