While there's some really freaky and disturbing horror imagery here and some truly frightening scenes, it falls completely apart in its third act. some of the interviews felt too scripted, and some of the visuals were horrendous.

earlier in the film, here was a sense of fear and dread present throughout, and then it just went away. there was some good stuff here, but it's glaring flaws in its third act are just to big to overcome from its great first half.
