Review of The Nightmare (2010) by Jack B — 23 Oct 2015
The Nightmare is not on the same compellingly unhinged level of excellence that Room 237 was but is still a wonderful genre blending experience. Part Documentary, Part Horror, all interesting and with an oddly spiritual feeling to it.
Certain scenes are frightening and the lack of talking heads is not as big a flaw as you might expect. Ascher's reach could be more widespread but the results are all the same intriguing in their coverage of a little discussed phenomena.
