I could watch this a million times more. Seems bizarre it was the only film made by actor Charles Laughton. Would he have directed other films, would they be great? Was it just a fluke this one was? Who knows.
They say the scenes of the shadow of Robert Mitchum riding on the horse was a little person riding a pony on a sound stage. Robert Mitchum was fantastic in this movie.
