Review of The Night of the Hunter (1955) by Ian P — 18 Nov 2011
Brilliant cinematography full of unforgettable images and a terrific performance from Robert Mitchum. Unfortunately loses steam in the last half-hour, has several uneven performances and contains a few too many characters who are so irritatingly stupid they grate on your nerves (Mrs.
Spoon, Ruby to name the worst offenders).
