Review of The Night of the Hunter (1955) by Yasmin U — 30 Sep 2008
Charles Laughton's singular directing attempt as he directs the story of a psychotic murderess wayward preacher who chases after to little children in order to acquire their fortune. Great performance by Mitchum as the dark yet often very charming preacher and fantastic cinematography.
A classic film that I highly recommend.
