Review of The Nice Guys (2016) by Kevin M. W — 27 Jul 2016
A wonderful homage to the TV buddy cop genre of the mid-1970's, Shane Black writer/directs Crowe and Gosling through a slimy, dirty L.A. underbelly prostitute murder towards what seems a larger conspiracy.
As with the old series shows one guesses the good guys from the bad guys pretty quickly. The joy is watching them all act out their parts. Big movie night fun and catchphrase. Finish. Roll credits.
