Hands down favorite film of 2016. Shane Black is completely in his element in the buddy-cop genre he helped create decades ago. His plots are pure pulp: twisty, turn-ey, and nearly inconsequential to the amazing ride you go on.

Also, it proves to the distress of most men everywhere that Gosling can do it all. He's absolutely hilarious through and through this whole movie. For me, he should've been nominated for this over 'La La Land'.
