Review of The New World (2005) by Danny S — 06 Nov 2011
The New World is heavily focused in capturing a time more than it is about capturing its characters. Instead of getting a theme to grasp on too we get to watch a story be told. As a film it is rather good but it runs too long.
As a Terry Malick film it falls to the bottom.
