To say that you are not going to get any history from this movie is an understatement, I would settle for a few introductions. The hole thing was just a series of of images and meaningless dialog that just seemed to go on and on.
And if you didn't know any thing about the events then you were really screwed. It was like a french art movie about Pocahontas, which is something that just should not happen. I hate to say it but I liked the Disney movies better.
