It'll put many to sleep, but it totally does it for me. So beautiful and lush. Breathes life to a fascinating moment in world history in such a rich way, and the two leads were superb, though I do wonder about the emotional accuracy of it all.
Loved the "making of" documentary almost as much as the film itself. 4/5.
