Review of The New World (2005) by Roshan C — 28 Dec 2011
Terence Malick is the most wonderous and brooding director of all time. The very secrets of the universe he is fulfilled in 4 films. However The New World has got to be his weakest. Despite strong arresting lead perfomances, the film suffers from a horribly dragging narrative pace that lumbers along without delivering a single piece of solid entertainment plus an unfocused plot that creates a shallow reasonance of a timeless classic.
