Not quite as good as its processor, but still enjoyable. What do you get if you make "The Neverending Story" without Wolfgang Peterson involved, you get a movie that isn't as redeeming or as memorable as its processor.
A beautiful and delightful fantasy in its own right, but again not in the same league as its Processor.
