Like a modern day Valley of the Dolls with Lynchian and Kubrick influence. This is a very confrontational allegory of the seedier side of the fashion industry. Even if the pacing in some scenes drag the movie a little and some of the characters make me want to punch the living shit out them the synth scores and the hard candy psychedelic visuals really make up for more than that which begs the question if the style really is the substance.

This movie is NOT for everyone but if you enjoy art films as a romantic and aesthetic art form that is open to abstract interpretation you will be in for a treat.
