While initially mesmerizing and captivating, The Neon Demon offers an intriguing and stylish set-up to a 3rd act that is guaranteed to make you feel uncomfortable (if not sick). A beauty to behold no doubt, but some painfully and poorly written characters, along with some truly unsettling scenes make Winding Refn's latest a tough pill to swallow.
