Ok movie. Refn undeniably has a stellar eye for direction and noble intentions with this film, which also features great performances Fanning, Malone and Reeves, but the film doesn't succeed in its goal, resulting in a slow-burn picture that never truly finds a genre and ends with an unsatisfactory third act.
