Without a doubt the greatest sports movie ever made. My favourite quote,.
Wilford Brimley: "You know my mother told me I oughta be a farmer.".
Robert Redford: "My dad wanted me to be a baseball player.".
Brimley: "Well, you're better than anyone I ever had, and you're the best goddamn hitter I ever saw." Great performances by a brilliant cast. And the music! The score inspires the underdog in all of us and still gives me tingles when I hear it. Definitely Randy Newman's finest hour. I can't say enough about hour truly great this film is. Wonderboy!
