Review of The Natural (1984) by Will C — 22 Feb 2008
The book is way different from the movie, roy strikes out @ the end of the pennant game,he wears # 9 and walks out of the judges office crying.But the movie was better than book..some scenes were good like when he was @ wrigley field while he was in a slump and his old girlfriend was there.
But the end of the movie is the best ending ever.wonderboy breaks in two,bobby picks him a winner, hits a home run into the light tower.all the light towers explode the following scene he's playing w/his son just like @ the beginning of the movie but a young roy hobbs was having a catch w/his dad.
