Review of The Natural (1984) by Alex C — 31 Mar 2011
The best baseball movie ever made. Robert Redford plays a mysterious middle aged baseball player in the 1930's for the New York Knights who is blessed with a talent to hit baseballs out of the park.
The movie has lots of nostalgia and memorable moments. I like the ending scene when Roy Hobbs (Robert Redford) hits a big homerun that smashes the lights in the light tower sending glittering sparkling lights floating on the baseball field, winning the pennant to go to the World Series.
A magical moment when the team mates embrace each other after the homerun and win.
