Review of The Nanny Diaries (2007) by John Z — 05 Apr 2009

Okay. I could see any one of the "Real Housewives" from the infamous Bravo series as the Upper East Side mom in this movie. A look inside the arrogant, shallow, and falsely elitist life of a wealthy family in Manhattan.

I never felt anything for the parents other than disdain; only the Nanny and Grover elicited some sympathy from me. Somehow, I don't think the ending is very realistic given that niche of society.

So overall, nothing life-changing except that I understand why I dislike that sect of society and avoid them like the plague; as I'm sure they would me! Watch it once and fuhgedaboudit!
