Review of The Nanny Diaries (2007) by David A — 15 Jun 2010
I would say that this is a nice movie, because the characters (especially Mrs. X) are not so black and white, which makes the story believable. The antropology context is okay, but worked better in Mean Girls.
But the huge mistake of the movie is that nothing really happens in it. We can follow Annie and Mrs. X on a road towards being adults, but the movie is lack of action and real conflicts. For example, why on earth is there a rich boy in the movie, if absolutely nothing interesting happens between them?
