Review of The Namesake (2006) by That B — 06 Jul 2008
Made me want to call my mom. Reflective look at cultural differences and family traditions without concluding with a "this way is best" finale. The father and mother become more and more impressive and break out of their archetypes as the movie rolls on.
The extensive timespan and overall length became a bit confounding. Points for the epic Paris line.
