Review of The Namesake (2006) by Abba A — 25 Feb 2010
The migrant theme permeates in many Indian films made for release in the West. Namesake is one of them. Its storyline was powerful in the beginning, which primarily focus on the parents and hte hardship they endured to give the family a good life.
Disappointingly, the movie faltered towards the end when the focus shift to their grown-up son. It's still wirth watching.
