Review of The Naked Prey (1965) by Jason L — 23 Feb 2008
It is easy to see how the greatness of this film has influenced other survival films to follow. The action is constant and watchable (in spite of a few 1960s stunt tricks used to tone down the violence rating a little). This is an excellent film to watch after seeing Mel Gibson's Apocalypto, proving once again that great directors are inspired by great films that have come before theirs. Naked Prey is also one of those films that is not ruined by dialogue, since there is very little (in English, anyway) to break up the action.
Overall, a rare treat to watch.
