Review of The Naked Kiss (1964) by Leo A — 05 Nov 2009
The work of Samuel Fuller is sadly underviewed today in America, but the French still seem to think of him as a essential representation of American culture. After a couple of films, one can start to see why.
In what seems like a silly, slightly melodramatic b-movie at first, the complexities of gender and sexual issues come to play, just wrapped in pulp stylings.
