The Naked Gun is a great series of slapstick comedy that will make you yearn for simpler times. Leslie Nielson at the end of his career started doing slapstick humor after the tremendous success of Airplane.
Naked Gun started as a television show- Police Squad which ran for 6 episodes. The visual and verbal gags are downright hilarious and clever and just looking at Neilson one can start burst laughing. The supporting cast is really good from (ahem) OJ Simpson to Priscilla Presley and all have been etched in our collective memories.
If you want a good laugh you cannot go wrong with Naked Gun.
