'Hey! Look at these!' She was the kind of woman who made you want to drop to your knees and thank God you were a man! She reminded me of my mother, all right. No doubt about it.".
This movie borrowed several jokes from the 6 episodes of Police Squad! (And they weren't delivered as good as the TV series.) - What was also nice about the TV series was the amount of "inside" jokes; if you were a frequent watcher, you'd get more of the random humor. - Plus, I really enjoy Alan North more than I do George Kennedy as Ed Hocken. The film is still decent; it's just not as good as the series was.
"The truth hurts, doesn't it, Hapsburg? Oh sure, maybe not as much as landing on a bicycle with the seat missing; but it hurts!".
