Review of The Music Lovers (1971) by Ralph M — 27 May 2008
The overheated mind of Ken Russell fit the story perfectly. I was young and impressionable when I first saw this in the movies. I couldn't get over how the actress who played Madame von Meck ate the fruit Tchaikovsky bit into.
Over the top and overwrought to the point of obsession. Great!
