Review of The Muppets Take Manhattan (1984) by Mark S — 06 Oct 2012
Kermit and the gang try to bring their musical revue to Broadway in this third Muppet movie. Just when the Muppets think that their luck can't get any worse, Kermit develops amnesia and leaves his friends behind.
This is a movie that tugs at the heartstrings, as audiences follow Kermit and his unflagging desire to make people happy, regardless of the repeated rejection he faces. Overall, it's a sad movie, but tears of pain turn to tears of joy by the end of the movie.
