This is not just the best Muppet movie made thus far, but is surprisingly the best adaptation of Dicken's story thus far! Michael Caine is a perfect Scrouge, while the Muppets fill out the remaining iconic roles.
Having Gonzo narrate the story as Dicken's himself with Rizo the Rat in tow is a particuarly genius idea. The songs are largely catchy and fun. Essential seasonal viewing!
