It's not the best adaptation of a Christmas Carol, but it's certainly a great one for children. The muppets are a lot of loveable characters, so having them play the famous characters from the original Dickens novel is quite fun.
Michael Caine, who plays Scrooge, comicly over-acts. It's fun to see him let loose and have fun with the role. The film is never boring, and the puppetry is masterful. It's recommended.
