Review of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008) by Hastymanic — 01 Aug 2008
This falls neatly under the category of 'big loud dumb fun.' While it is completely unmemorable, the film, in spite of itself, has a mild charm about it and some amusing dialogue and action to offset the general mediocrity of the proceedings.
I must say, however, that Jet Li's villian has to be one of the most impotent of bad dudes in a big commercial film in as long as I can remember. OK entertainment and a decent distraction.
