Review of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008) by Iain M — 11 Dec 2010
The first disappointing movie of the summer, definitely the weakest entry of the trilogy. It's not really the kind of movie suited to either Jet Li or Michelle Yeoh. The story's ok, but the movie overall fails to impress, focusing mainly on Alex rather than Rick and Evie (who was switched from Rachel Weisz, proper English actress playing a proper English character to Maria Bello, a blonde American).
John Hannah gets a few laughs yet again, but even he is heavily underused.
