Review of The Mummy (2017) by Pixelpiece X — 11 Sep 2017
They went in a different direction tonally than the originals - this doesn't make the shift bad, just different.
While I certainly missed Egypt as the backdrop and some of the camp from the originals, the new Mummy movie delivers a new premise, a decent cast and good setup for the Dark Universe franchise.
The effects and costumes were great and I'm looking forward to where they're going to go with this.
