A film that starts as a Mummy movie and ends as kind of a mess. Another company sacrificing there film for an extended universe. When are companies going to see what Marvel does and realize you can add elements to an extended universe and style focus on the film that you're making.
The Mummy has some interesting things going on early to then be completely overshadowed by The Dark Universe. I love monsters as much as the next guy but the whole second half of your film doesn't need to be setting up the next film.
Overall The Mummy is watchable and has some interesting moments but not enough to matter.
