For those who are unappreciative of what Universal is attempting to do, and not emotionally invested in the creature features of old....this movie will be viewed as lackluster. For those who feel this movie is a re-make of the Brendan Fraiser vehicles, not quite 20 years old yet, you are ill informed.

Give the film a chance, and don't let any reviewer convince you not to. Use your brain. Universal is attempting to tap into the very thing they are renowned for. Movie Monsters. The names Lon Chaney, Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney Jr.

, Claude Rains, Elsa Lanchester, and Ben Chapman created some of the most memorable monsters ever to grace the silver screen. If Universal can tap into that again...Dark Universe will be a success. There are far too many reviewer's with a dismissive attitude and a pre-made up mind reviewing the film, and passing judgment on the entire venture right out of the gate.

Ignoring the passion that apparently exists behind this new revival attempt. Let's just see what happens.
