I am really not sure why this movie got all the hate from both the critics and audience, but I found it very entertaining and interesting. The only think I don't like (and that's probably the reason the movie got all the bad reviews) is giving the batshit crazy Tom "Scientology" Cruise the lead role.
Despite his insanity, I think his acting was quite solid in this movie. I also like the special effects and story setting and I hope to see more movies that will continue where this one finished.
