Review of The Mountain Between Us (2017) by Alice V — 22 Feb 2018

Wow. Such a big disappointment.

I just feel bad for the actors in this movie. Idris and Kate deserved a better script. It lacked a spark between the two anyway, but on movie terms, there was no clear signs of there being a budding romance at all and quite frankly the characters seemed to clash. I adored the dog however. The family named him Doggy McDogface. Also messy in terms of details - one minute Ben would have his gloves on, the next he wouldn't.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this movie. Boring, lacked character building. It only gets two stars because of the dog (or dogs rather - Raleigh and Austin you rocked it).
