Review of The Motorcycle Diaries (2004) by Nate R — 05 Jul 2010
The Motorcycle Diaries is an interesting film, focusing on the life of Ernesto 'Che' Guerva before he became a famous revolutionary. Gael Garcia Bernal is brilliant in the lead role, however Rodrigo De La Serna is irritating. The scenery and music are breathtaking, and Walter Salles knows how to get a point across and is a true story teller.
The only downfall in this film is that some scenes are overly long and could have used some trimming. But other than that, this film is a brilliant depiction of one of the great revolutionaries.
