Review of The Motorcycle Diaries (2004) by Joel A — 30 Aug 2010
A foreign film I had heard so much about and finally know I see why. Both actors are sensational but it's Gael Garcia Bernal that steals the show as Che. It's a very interesting story set against a beautiful primitive South American backdrop.
This film is so rich in character, locations, comedy, charm and heart. Walter Salles directed a real masterpiece it's simple road trip film but major transformation occurs for Che's character very little for his partner in crime.
All there adventures are honest nothing pretentious or overblown in this film, as a viewer you just watch their lives unfold very compelling viewing a must see south american modern classic...
