Review of The Motorcycle Diaries (2004) by Ardita Ç — 31 Oct 2009
Whatever kind of person Che Guevara is, the movie was about some part of his life where he and his buddy decided to go on a life-altering road trip using an old motorbike.
It's a simple movie. It doesn't try to say a lot of things about Guevara and his buddy. Simply two young men who have decided to see the world before life caught up with them. Coming from a family who could afford education and three meals a day, both saw a lot of things. However, life caught Guevara earlier than it should have.
I guess the whole context of this movie is still relevant to today's conditions. It has always been about land, livelihoods, environment and equal rights.
