Review of The Motorcycle Diaries (2004) by Josh S — 10 Dec 2009
Excellent story on the early years of Ernesto "Che" Guevara's life, before all that glorified revolutionary stuff made him popular. It is a coming-of-age, buddy road film that encompasses a long journey from southern Argentina all the way up South America.
The film shows Ernesto and his best friend Alberto exploring their home soil of Latin America. Being that this was before his Cuban glorification, the film is a great feel-good story with excellent photography, amazing performances and a great story altogether.
